Reunions, gotta love 'em!

We all know about that time of year when the families around the world, no matter how dysfunctional, get together to celebrate. Well, I am happy to say, our families are not dysfuncional and we are excited to say, two more family reunions under the belt without major calamity!
For the Boogaard Family get together, we went to the Oregon Coast. We spent time going to the coast, minor shopping, watching the tide come in, and playing games with family, and we even snuck in a great seafood dinner on the coast.
We saw a few lighthouses, whales, small sea creatures, and Peter was only pulled over ONCE!
We also went to Idaho for the Nelson family reunion. We had a great time eating, shooting off rockets, and jousting! Thanks to Mark and Karen for putting it together for us!! We have posted some pics, enjoy!!

Honeymoon Madness

"San Diego, which I believe means: a whales..." (Anchorman, Will Farrel)
Well, at any rate, Peter and I Honeymooned in San Diego. It was a Place we had both been but a long time ago. We flew in late on a Saturday night in May. The hotel (which Annisa booked) looked, well shall we say 'different' from the Website it was boasted on. The following week was shopping, site seeing and relaxing (something Peter has been trying to Teach Annisa for quite awhile). Some of the highlights? Sea World, Urban Outfitters, small shops, the ocean, and real-estate hunting (which Annisa has learned that even on Vacations she will never get away from). After a week of Fun in the Sun, we were ready to be back home. The pups stayed at a lavish resort; for privacy reasons we will name it 'Willow Creek Pet Center' and were overjoyed to see their parents return.

Our Wedding

Peter and I were married March 23rd, 2007. It is a day I will always remember and a day I will always remind Peter of, usually ON March 23rd. We had a small ceremony with close friends and family, then a nice dinner at the Asian Star (a Boogaard favorite). It has been almost 6 months and neither of us can believe it has been that long already. We have created this blog mostly for ourselves, but also to keep in touch with friends. Please feel free to come to our blog anytime, and if you know us well, our home.
